I`m happy that MyCuppies has received positive responses (compliments and some encouraging comments) these past few months. It has been more tiring yet more inspiring! And browsing through blogs of some other cupcakes makers who are much much more creative and talented, saya terasa sangat kecil. Banyak lagi ilmu nak kena menuntut ni. Hehe. However with tight schedule and limited budget, tak dpt la nak pegi baking courses. Cuma boleh usaha belajar online from sifu-sifu yg mmg tak lokek ilmu. I like! Dan dan dan sebenarnye Nurul teringin sangat nak buat kek hantaran dgn fondant, tapi takde sape nk order lagi ni =p

*Nurul akan hire one new worker utk bake dan deco dlm masa terdekat ni. Tapi kalau kualiti tak sama dgn hasil kerja Nurul, mmg kena pecat la budak tu. Hehe. *sengih dgn tanduk atas kepala*

New Boxes and Packages

Salam and hello everyone! We would like to announce these limited packages of cuppies. Single and double large cupcakes in new elegant boxes! The box for single cupcake is black in colour, while for the double cupcakes is red textured box. Walaupun boxes yg Nurul order will only reach this Tuesday or Wednesday and tak dapat snap photos of the real one but I hope these will give you clear pictures of how the boxes look like.

Yang merah tu, bukan 2 boxes tau. One box yang muat untuk two large cupcakes. Saiz box ni 14cm x 7cm x 6.5cm. Dan untuk single cupcake pulak, warna box bukan seperti dlm gambar, tapi hitam. Saiznya 7cm x 7cm x 6.5cm. Nanti bila the boxes sampai Nurul ambil gambar sebenar.

These are the price for these packages:
Single large cupcake in black box with ribbon RM10.
Double large cupcakes in red box with ribbon RM15.

A spoon is provided with each boxes.
Suitable for couples yang tak nak makan byk cupcakes. Hehe. Romantik gitu.

And this is another box. Transparent! Saya suka yang ini. Sangat-sangat!
Transparent box ni for single cupcake, warna silver. Harga package cupcake dgn box ni dan ribbon juga RM10. Ada 10 boxes je ye. Kalau nak order silalah dgn kadar segera sebelum orang lain sambar. Lalala~

Nak Buat Donut Pulak?

Itu tajuk semata-mata. Hehe. Taktau la bila nak cuba buat donut tu. Sekarang pun macam tak cukup tido je. Ataupun tak boleh tido, sebab asik fikir pasal order dan response tukang order. Risau kalau customer tak puas hati. Kita buat kek untuk me"happy"kan orang. Kalau kek tak sedap atau tak menepati citarasa tentulah orang tu tak happy kan. Mcmana eh nak puaskan hati semua orang. Nanti hati sendiri yang sengsara. Chewah!

OK ni Nurul upload beberapa gambar cupcakes dan mini cheesecakes from this week`s orders. Ada lagi yang belum sempat transfer dari kamera ke pc. Later ya. Anyway, infinite thanks to Oli, Nik, Zyma and friends! Kak Nurul tunggu next order. Keke.

January: Happy Ending

The final week of January was a bit relaxing yet I managed to cater to Fiera`s order for her Majlis Pertunangan. Jom tgk gambar muffins dan marble chocolate cheese cake yg Nurul deliver ke rumah Fiera di Bandar Baru Uda on Friday 30/1. Thanks to Fiera. Nanti wedding mesti order choc cupcakes strawberry dgn Nurul tau!

Fiera text me on Thursday; " Thanx nurul for the cuppies that day. Sedap. Insya Allah kite order yang strawberry tu untuk kawen nanti." Hehe, thanks again Fiera!

Yang bawah ni pulak mix flavours cheesetarts yang Kak Ana FKKKSA tempah. Thanks Kak! And sorry lewat hantar. Jgn serik pulak nak order dgn nurul lagi. Hehe.

Hari ni masih dlm kepenatan sbb sambil terima tempahan kek Nurul berkejar sana sini nak setelkan hard cover binding untuk tesis. Insya Allah kalau takde apa-apa March 2009 konvo! Yeay! Lepas tu boleh fokus dgn MyCuppies sepenuh masa. Boleh praktis skill mendeco cupcakes dgn buttercream dan fondant/gumpaste. Dan boleh come out with new products! Hehe. Ni kiranye azam tahun baru la ni. Lalala~

Orders On Saturday 17 Jan 2009

First of all, Nurul nak minta maaf pada yg nak order atau bertanya ttg cupcakes dan delivery ke KL and other locations. Buat masa ni Nurul berseorangan menerima tempahan. Dgn dua tangan ni je la bertungkus lumus menyiapkan orders. Belum ada cwgn di luar JB lagi. Hehe. So tempahan di luar Johor mintak maaf sgt2 tak dpt terima. Kecuali masa tu kebetulan Nurul nak ke KL juga, boleh la buatkan. Tapi ada special project this coming February, dan hopefully projek ni tak cancelled. If byk tempahan dari KL maybe Nurul akan ke sana.

Nurul nak ucapkan terima kasih sgt2 pada Hidayah (moist chocolate cake), Zyma (chocolate cupcakes), Kak Yan (butter and chocolate cupcakes) dan Aniz (mars mini cheesecakes) yang order last week. Nurul harap semua berpuas hati dgn kek yang ditempah ye. Kalau tak puas makan boleh order lagi lain kali. Hehe.

Gambar yg first ni mars mini cheesecakes ordered by Aniz from Larkin untuk hantaran pertunangannye. Happy sgt bila Aniz ckp encik tunang suka cheesecake tu, dan alhamdulillah cheesecake masih berkeadaan baik selepas semalaman di luar fridge. Ini pula cupcakes sebanyak 24pcs ordered by Kak Yanti Maslina (keke buh nama penuh) from FKKKSA UTM. Kak Yan ni lecturer yang berdedikasi. Dulu masa Nurul buat research project, selalu lepak kat lab Kak Yan. Bukan buat labwork tapi main internet. Skali Kak Yan pi report kat supervisor. Adeh. Padan muka-ku. Lupa plk tanya Kak Yan feedback ttg cupcakes ni. Kak Yan asik puji oreo mini cheesecakes tu je, sampai Nurul terlupa. Hehe. Melayang la kejap sbb orang ckp cheesecake tu sedap kan. Ngee~

Ha yang 25pcs small chocolate cupcakes ni adik sweet bernama Zyma dari Taman Universiti yang order for her cousin`s wedding. Zyma ckp choc cupcakes ni sedap. Tapi dia tak ckp plk cantik. Tak cantik la kot. Hehe. Moist chocolate cake dgn chocolate ganache topping tu pulak Hidayah dari Foberg UTM yang order on Friday untuk birthday surprise housemate kesayangannye. Hidayah ni Nurul dah nampak potensi sebagai loyal customer ni. Kwang3. Suka hati je bagi title kat Dayah. Jgn marah naa, lusa Kak Nurul siapkn mini cheesecakes tu =)

So itu aje tempahan last week. Minggu ni nye nanti Nurul update. Dan maybe akan balik Perak this Friday - Sunday, kalau masih ada tiket. Hehe.

p/s: Rasanye ramai customer MyCuppies lebih suka order cheesecakes berbanding cupcakes. Hmmm.
