Puasa ke tak ni? Hehehe.

Dah beberapa bulan kita freeze from business tapi entah dari mana datang semangat berkobar2 Nurul rasa nak buka semula tempahan. Ngeee. Well, there is always good news kan, dan sempena nak menyambut Syawal ni, apa kata semarakkan kemeriahan jamuan Aidilfitri dengan kek dan cupcakes from MyCuppies!!

Secara rasminye (chewahh!) tempahan dibuka semula tapi untuk kawasan sekitar Shah Alam dan KL je ye. Order boleh buat sekarang tapi delivery dan self pick up after raya je la. To be spesific, mulai 1st October 2009. Raya nak balik kampung kat Perak. Hehe. And to cupcake lovers di JB, I mintak maap la sebab tak dpt nak tunaikan permintaan, kecuali kalau nak order kek lapis cadbury yang penghantarannye secara poslaju akan dipertimbangkan.

And for a lil` bad news, orders are opened for a very limited quantity during weekdays, whereas for weekends maybe boleh lebih sikit la.

So jangan tunggu lagi, email or sms me for requests. Boleh discuss pasal flavors, themes, delivery charge etc. Kalau Nurul tak jawab call means tgh sibuk sikit, so sms je and Nurul will call back once dah free. And pls order at least 7days in advance so that I have enough time to prepare everything =)

Cupcakes for Hantaran & Updates for May!

Salam and good day everyone!

First of all, nak minta maaf pada viewers sekalian sebab dah lama sgt tak update.
So many things happened yet so little time to update. Sorry.

Nurul nak minta maaf juga pada yang call, sms dan email nak order dlm 2-3 minggu ni dan terpaksa Nurul tolak. Dah full sayang. Memang tak boleh nak selit-selit dah. Kang dpt cupcakes yg tak deco cantik, marah pulekks kan. Ngeee~

Order untuk May ni, hanya pada 9 dan 10 May yg masih available.

1. Thanks to Nana, again, for ordering this hantaran cupcakes for her cousin`s wedding. Suka sgt berurusan dgn Nana ni, sebab percaya pada Nurul 100% untuk deco the cupcakes and the cupcakes box. Thank you dear. Sangat puas hati dgn hasil yg ini, and of course hiasan tambahan pada cups and box bukan Nurul buat. That was hasil kerja pembuat kotak, Mazwan. Hahaha. Ramai tak sangka Mazwan ni berseni rupanye =p and gumpaste flowers tu pada asalnye nak buat sendiri, tapi sebab dah tak sempat so beli aje la. Hehe.

2. This oreo-based cheesecake was ordered by Dr Ida and En Zul. Dr Ida ni supervisor research project Nurul. Masa tgh potong buah-buah nak letak atas cheesecake tuNurul tak tahan tgk kiwi tu rasa nak gigit aje. Memang trs ngap pun. Haha! Then 2-3 hari kemudian, buat oreo cheesecakes untuk Kak Yan. Kak Yan order 4 bijik sekali untuk bagi staff kat fakulti. Satu rumah bau cheesecakes. Hehe. Tapi lupa nak snap gambar =p but anyway thanks Kak Yan yg dah nak ke Canada untuk sambung PhD. Good luck!
3. Ha! Ni smlm punye citer. Awal pagi kul 5 Nurul dan Mazwan dah bertolak dari Skudai dgn menumpang Amy dan Arif ke Kuala Pilah. Bawa 200pcs muffins, 1 box of fruit cheesetarts and 1 box of cupcakes for hantaran majlis perkahwinan Ayu & Fauzi. Congratulations on the wedding, Ayu! Tema majlis Ayu striking orange! Hantarannye siap ada penjaga, si Naruto and the geng. Pelik betul si Ayu ni. Apa-apapun semoga berbahagia ye Ayu dan Fauzi. Nanti I kawen tlg sponsor photography session ye. Gagaga!
4. And last but not least, chocolate cupcakes dgn strawberry ni ordered by Ashraf melalui phone call dari Kelantan or Kuantan, tak brp jelas pulak hari tu. Sayang betul dia kat buah hati kat UTM tu ye. Hehe. Thanks for ordering ya!
*Masa buka folders gambar cupcakes rasa macam ada yg tak publish lagi kat blog. Tapi dah tak ingat, so siapa2 yg gmbr cupcakes dia takde kat blog Nurul minta maaf ye. Agak unorganized lately.

Wedding Favours

Ramai pengantin skrg dah takmo bagi telur masa majlis perkahwinan. Masing-masing nak bagi muffins atau cupcakes. Kalau mampu apa salahnye kan. Memang kos untuk bagi cupcakes sebagai wedding favours atau wedding gifts ni mahal "sikit" berbanding telur dlm kotak. Kalau bakul yg cantik2 tu maybe harga lebih kurang la dgn cupcakes. I taktau sebab i belom kawen, tak pernah survey plk harganye. Tapi ye la, depends on citarasa dan kehendak pengantin dan family la kan. Ada juga yg tak nak bagi utk semua tetamu, boleh bg pada tetamu VIP contohnye sedare mare dan kawan-kawan rapat. Pendapat Nurul personally, no komen. Ngee~ Tapi kalau pegi wedding yg dapat cupcakes ni, first impression adalah: ANAK ORANG KAYA DIA NI! Takpun: MESTI DIA/PASANGAN DIA KEJE BESAR, GAJI BESAR, DUIT BANYAK. Itu pendapat Nurul la. Orang lain? Tepuk dada tanya selera, nak cupcakes ke telur? Lalala~

Kata orang, "Picture speaks a thousand words." So here they are.

Moist chocolate cake ordered by Ayu. This is a very last minute work, sbb eventually I didn`t mention to Ayu that we only do delivery from 9pm onwards. And I didn`t check my emails earlier, asking for the cake to be delivered at noon sbb Ayu nak balik bawa kek tu. Nasib baik Ayu yg baik hati setuju nak pick up kat rumah so Nurul dgn tak cukup tido malam sebelumnya terus masuk dapur. Alhamdulillah sempat siap kek untuk hari lahir ibu Ayu ni. Hopefully Ayu, ibu dan family suka dgn kek coklat tu ye.

And I have to thank Nozie for the design idea of this set of cupcakes ordered by Nik. To Nik, sorry for the sudden change of plan. Sampai tersilap blok nak hantar cupcakes ni, akibat tido yg tak sempurna 2 mlm berturut-turut. Otak jd mengong sikit. Hehe. Sorry ye Nik!

Yang ni pulak, rasa sgt suka bila Kak Noraidah order Kek Lapis Cadbury. Ngeee~ With choc topping dan dedication "Selamat Pengantin Baru." Sweet la bg pengantin kek lapis. Kalau Nurul, kek ni buat makan sendiri je. Kehkeh.

I`m happy that MyCuppies has received positive responses (compliments and some encouraging comments) these past few months. It has been more tiring yet more inspiring! And browsing through blogs of some other cupcakes makers who are much much more creative and talented, saya terasa sangat kecil. Banyak lagi ilmu nak kena menuntut ni. Hehe. However with tight schedule and limited budget, tak dpt la nak pegi baking courses. Cuma boleh usaha belajar online from sifu-sifu yg mmg tak lokek ilmu. I like! Dan dan dan sebenarnye Nurul teringin sangat nak buat kek hantaran dgn fondant, tapi takde sape nk order lagi ni =p

New Boxes and Packages

Salam and hello everyone! We would like to announce these limited packages of cuppies. Single and double large cupcakes in new elegant boxes! The box for single cupcake is black in colour, while for the double cupcakes is red textured box. Walaupun boxes yg Nurul order will only reach this Tuesday or Wednesday and tak dapat snap photos of the real one but I hope these will give you clear pictures of how the boxes look like.

Yang merah tu, bukan 2 boxes tau. One box yang muat untuk two large cupcakes. Saiz box ni 14cm x 7cm x 6.5cm. Dan untuk single cupcake pulak, warna box bukan seperti dlm gambar, tapi hitam. Saiznya 7cm x 7cm x 6.5cm. Nanti bila the boxes sampai Nurul ambil gambar sebenar.

These are the price for these packages:
Single large cupcake in black box with ribbon RM10.
Double large cupcakes in red box with ribbon RM15.

A spoon is provided with each boxes.
Suitable for couples yang tak nak makan byk cupcakes. Hehe. Romantik gitu.

And this is another box. Transparent! Saya suka yang ini. Sangat-sangat!
Transparent box ni for single cupcake, warna silver. Harga package cupcake dgn box ni dan ribbon juga RM10. Ada 10 boxes je ye. Kalau nak order silalah dgn kadar segera sebelum orang lain sambar. Lalala~

January: Happy Ending

The final week of January was a bit relaxing yet I managed to cater to Fiera`s order for her Majlis Pertunangan. Jom tgk gambar muffins dan marble chocolate cheese cake yg Nurul deliver ke rumah Fiera di Bandar Baru Uda on Friday 30/1. Thanks to Fiera. Nanti wedding mesti order choc cupcakes strawberry dgn Nurul tau!

Fiera text me on Thursday; " Thanx nurul for the cuppies that day. Sedap. Insya Allah kite order yang strawberry tu untuk kawen nanti." Hehe, thanks again Fiera!

Yang bawah ni pulak mix flavours cheesetarts yang Kak Ana FKKKSA tempah. Thanks Kak! And sorry lewat hantar. Jgn serik pulak nak order dgn nurul lagi. Hehe.

3 bulan kebelakangan ni agak sibuk dan kurang teratur.
Tapi hopefully, sbb dah berjaya submit tesis (Alhamdulillah!)
saya dapat lebih fokus dgn MyCuppies.
Mintak2 lepas ni dapat selalu update blog ni yg mcm ala-ala ditinggalkan je eh.
Hehe.

I will be uploading some pics of previous orders from November onwards yang tak sempat update di blog ni, probably within these two weeks. Sebenarnya, MyCuppies sedang dlm proses mengemaskini dan revamp layout. Dan ada projek yang akan kami heboh-hebohkan dalam masa terdekat. Buat sementara waktu, saya letak snippets sikit ya. Nak tau lebih lanjut, rajin-rajinlah jenguk MyCuppies =)
