Nurul nak minta maaf sebab dah lama abaikan blog ni, dan juga home-made cupcake business ni. I know, many of you have continuously called, sms-ed and emailed for orders or enquiries, which several of them I didn't even reply because of time constraint. This is why I've decided to put MyCuppies.com up for sale. It is a very tough decision, but what needs to be done, needs to be done. Dpd biarkan blog dan business ni terabai mcm ni, kan?

I would like to apologize for the very long silence since December. The cupcake class that I've been planning to do in January and February 2011 would have to wait. We are currently working on some new projects. If everything goes out well, I'll reveal about the projects soon ya =)

Kelas adalah hands-on dan merangkumi kaedah-kaedah:
1. membuat chocolate cupcake
2. membuat buttercream

4. tips on do's and dont's

Jumlah cupcake yg akan dideco 16pcs (untuk dibawa pulang). Semua resepi, tools dan ingredients akan Nurul sediakan. So cuma dtg bawa badan je, dan juga apron kalau ada.

Kelas Cupcake November 2010

Ramai yang bertanya ttg kelas cupcake decorating with fondant. Nurul jarang deco guna fondant kecuali untuk hantaran. So if nak buat kelas full belajar fondant from A to Z tu macam tak berapa sesuai la plk kan.

Tapi, Nurul plan nak buat satu kelas yg fokus untuk deco hantaran cupcake seperti dalam gambar.

Hantaran Cupcake Decorating with Fondant/Gumpaste

Date: 21 November 2010 (Sunday)
Time: 10.30am -3.00pm
Venue: Setia Alam, Seksyen U13, Shah Alam
Fee: RM200


Kelas adalah hands-on dan merangkumi kaedah-kaedah:
1. mewarnakan fondant/gumpaste
2. membentuk roses dan daun dpd fondant/gumpaste
3. cupcake decorating with fondant
4. edible image and additional decoration on cupcakes
4. decorating the whole hantaran box including papercups

Peserta akan bawa pulang 1 box of beautifully self-decorated hantaran cupcake of their own theme colour, and of course the skills learnt throughout the class.

Chocolate/vanilla cupcake Nurul akan sediakan beforehand. Dan bahan-bahan semua disediakan juga. Bila dah confirm nanti boleh emailkan prefered theme colour so that Nurul boleh sediakan decoration items before class started. Nanti you all datang bawak hati yg ceria dan kamera je hehe.

Salam and hi everyone. It's been long, hasn't it? =)

Life was hectic with work (and sleep) heh. I'm sorry to those who called and emailed but their orders have been denied. Just managed to make some cuppies throughout these whole few months. Itu pun tak sempat nak snap gambar dan update di blog. 

Well since I'm already on leave and have some spare time this afternoon, I decided to revamp the look of this blog. Been so looooong with the same layout, lama-lama tengok rasa nak muntah =p.  Dengan wajah baru ni, hopefully I will have more time to bake and deco more cupcakes for you all. Tak siap pun lagi layout ni sbnrnye =p tapi sikit-sikit dulu la eh.

Dan sempena dgn "pre-launching" (hihi!) wajah baru MyCuppies, nurul ada wish sikit. Cake for Anniversary - Red and White Theme, dan Update Kelas Cupcake

Happy Anniversary to Sue and partner!

Sue eventually emailed me asking for idea of cupcake theme for her anniversary. I haven't have any anniversary theme orders before, so I actually have no other idea than a lovey-dovey theme. She then emailed a pic of a small cake with three cupcakes around it, and asked for a red and white theme. So Nurul buat la according to Sue's preference.

Thanks Sue for ordering! Hope both of you enjoy the cake, as much as I do have fun making it =)

Tentang kelas cupcake decorating, insyaAllah akan diadakan mulai Februari di Shah Alam (Seksyen U13 Setia Alam). Mengikut perancangan, Nurul nak buat 7hb (Ahad) dan 20hb (Sabtu).

Kelas ni hands-on dan merangkumi kaedah-kaedah:
1. membuat chocolate cupcake
2. membuat buttercream
3. buttercream decorating
4. membuat chocolate topping
5. menghias choc cupcake dgn choc topping dan fresh strawberry

Jumlah cupcake yg akan dideco sekurang-kurangnya 16pcs (untuk dibawa pulang). Semua resepi, tools dan ingredients akan Nurul sediakan. So cuma dtg bawa badan je, dan juga apron kalau ada.

Kelas Cupcake

Salam, semua.

Nurul bercadang nak buat kelas cupcakes (basic baking and decorating with buttercream) bermula maybe in February. So nak survey dululah, ada yang berminat tak.

Buat permulaan maybe nak buat di Skudai. Kat Shah Alam ni rumah sempit, risau yg datang nak belajar nanti tak selesa pulak. Tapi kalau ada yang nak belajar di Shah Alam atau KL di rumah sendiri, maybe Nurul boleh plan something kalau cukup 3-4 org untuk satu sesi kelas.

Apa-apapun, boleh email kat nurul@mycuppies.com. Bagitau brp range harga yg you all rasa berpatutan untuk kelas cupcake ni, tarikh yg dirasakan sesuai (Sabtu dan Ahad saja) dan kalau ada request nak belajar selain dpd basic buttercream decorating pun boleh email juga ya.

Kalau dah confirm kelasnye nanti Nurul update tarikh-tarikh di blog.

Cupcake Hantaran Hitam Putih Silver

Tadaa! Cupcake hantaran untuk majlis merisik adik Nurul. Keke. Yang ni gambar sebelum final touch up. Lepas ambil gambar ni Nurul tambah sugar beads dan jugak bagi kilat sikit bunga tu. Pastu boleh plk lupa nak ambil gambar lepas tu. Adess. Takpe la, yang penting cupcake berjaya dimakan sekelip mata. Hehe.

Sesiapa yang nak order cupcake hantaran macam ni, boleh tukar warna mengikut tema hantaran masing-masing. Harga bermula dari RM85 tanpa hiasan riben, dan RM95 dengan riben biasa. Kalau nak hiasan bunga-bungaan dan butterfly, tambah sikit untuk harga hiasan tu. Kalau nak jimat, tulisan nama tu (asalnye edible image) boleh ganti dgn buttercream je. Tulisan tgn Nurul la kiranye, hehe. Nak kata tak cantik tu, cantik jugak =p (perasan) tapi tak le sekemas dan seindah edible image.

End of Year 2009: Nak Buat Promotion Ke Tak?

Salam semua.

Sekejapnye masa berlalu kan. Dah sampai bulan December 2009.
Walaupun baru 2 bulan Nurul start balik buka tempahan cupcakes kat Shah Alam, tapi sambutan sgt menggalakkan. Sampai terpaksa tolak tempahan. Maaf lah pada sesiapa yg Nurul tak sempat jawab call terutamanye, balas sms, reply kat chatbox, bukan tak appreciate, tapi masa tak mengizinkan.

Dan untuk December ni pun, sebenarnye dah tak available. Nurul terima order pun tak banyak sebab nak fokus lebih kepada hal-hal keluarga, dan jugak nak spend masa dgn kawan2 yang lama dah tak jumpa dan bersembang.

However, niat di hati nak buat limited promotion for 25pcs small cupcakes, maybe. Tapi nak kena cari tarikh yg sesuai dulu. Nurul akan busy sehingga 20hb ni. So maybe lepas tu boleh la kot. Nurul akan update pasal promotion ni soon ya. InsyaAllah kalau takde hal, Nurul update next week. So anyone interested to order or request anything, pls email me segera ya.

October Calendar for Cupcake Order Reference

Entah kenape lately phone num Celcom ni always no service/no network. Sesape yg call 019.6252580 tapi tak dpt, boleh cuba call 016.5285365. Kalau tak jawab tu maybe masa tu ada kerja lain. Boleh tgalkan sms dan Nurul akan contact bila free ye.

Here is the calendar for your reference. Yang putih je tu actually tak terima order tapi boleh la try tanya. Kalau rasa available maybe Nurul terima.

Yg pink tu mmg dah full, even nak tmbh 6pcs je pun tak dpt la, dearies. Kang penat sgt tgn Nurul menggigil pulak nak deco, nanti kualiti tak terjamin. Me not likey tau.

Biru tu limited, filling fast. Macam nak beli tiket wayang pulek. Hehe. Nak bg tips sikit, walaupun Nurul cakap buat order at least 3 hari sebelum kan, tapi biasanye seminggu sebelum tu dah ramai yg order. So untuk tidak berasa kecewa, silalah mintak quotation atau email enquiry tu at least 10hari sebelum. Kadang2 tak sampai hati nak tolak permintaan orang tapi apakan daya I do this as side income je. Yg mana mampu tu sedaya boleh Nurul tunaikan. Tapi tak bolehla smpi mengganggu kerjaya tetap kan..

OK so yang hijau tu available slots lah. Cepat2 booking sebelum org lain yg dapat. Hehe.

Prosedur untuk order lebih kurang mcm ni (walaupun sbnrnye tak kisah la nak approach mcmana, tp kalau ikut prosedur ni lebih memudahkan):

1. Browse products dan tgk design yg berkenan kat sini >> Flickr's MyCuppies
2. Kalau ada contoh gambar dari buku ke, gmbr hantaran kawan2 ke, boleh jugak. Kita discuss nak alter mcmana nanti.
3. Tgk kalendar available ke tak. Then email secara ringkas dan nyatakan detail (nama, location, phone num, kuantiti dan decoration/design/theme). Kalau ada gmbr contoh pun boleh attach. Ataupun boleh sms dulu tny tarikh tu available lagi tak.
4. Nurul akan reply email/sms secepat mungkin, sama ada available atau tak.
5. Bayar deposit 50% untuk confirmation. Kalau takde deposit ni Nurul anggap you tak jadi order. So slot untuk tarikh tu akan open lagi untuk org lain.

Accepting Orders for October!

Puasa ke tak ni? Hehehe.

Dah beberapa bulan kita freeze from business tapi entah dari mana datang semangat berkobar2 Nurul rasa nak buka semula tempahan. Ngeee. Well, there is always good news kan, dan sempena nak menyambut Syawal ni, apa kata semarakkan kemeriahan jamuan Aidilfitri dengan kek dan cupcakes from MyCuppies!!

Secara rasminye (chewahh!) tempahan dibuka semula tapi untuk kawasan sekitar Shah Alam dan KL je ye. Order boleh buat sekarang tapi delivery dan self pick up after raya je la. To be spesific, mulai 1st October 2009. Raya nak balik kampung kat Perak. Hehe. And to cupcake lovers di JB, I mintak maap la sebab tak dpt nak tunaikan permintaan, kecuali kalau nak order kek lapis cadbury yang penghantarannye secara poslaju akan dipertimbangkan.

And for a lil` bad news, orders are opened for a very limited quantity during weekdays, whereas for weekends maybe boleh lebih sikit la.

So jangan tunggu lagi, email or sms me for requests. Boleh discuss pasal flavors, themes, delivery charge etc. Kalau Nurul tak jawab call means tgh sibuk sikit, so sms je and Nurul will call back once dah free. And pls order at least 7days in advance so that I have enough time to prepare everything =)

First of all, nak minta maaf pada viewers sekalian sebab dah lama sgt tak update.
So many things happened yet so little time to update. Sorry.

Nurul nak minta maaf juga pada yang call, sms dan email nak order dlm 2-3 minggu ni dan terpaksa Nurul tolak. Dah full sayang. Memang tak boleh nak selit-selit dah. Kang dpt cupcakes yg tak deco cantik, marah pulekks kan. Ngeee~

Order untuk May ni, hanya pada 9 dan 10 May yg masih available.

1. Thanks to Nana, again, for ordering this hantaran cupcakes for her cousin`s wedding. Suka sgt berurusan dgn Nana ni, sebab percaya pada Nurul 100% untuk deco the cupcakes and the cupcakes box. Thank you dear. Sangat puas hati dgn hasil yg ini, and of course hiasan tambahan pada cups and box bukan Nurul buat. That was hasil kerja pembuat kotak, Mazwan. Hahaha. Ramai tak sangka Mazwan ni berseni rupanye =p and gumpaste flowers tu pada asalnye nak buat sendiri, tapi sebab dah tak sempat so beli aje la. Hehe.

2. This oreo-based cheesecake was ordered by Dr Ida and En Zul. Dr Ida ni supervisor research project Nurul. Masa tgh potong buah-buah nak letak atas cheesecake tuNurul tak tahan tgk kiwi tu rasa nak gigit aje. Memang trs ngap pun. Haha! Then 2-3 hari kemudian, buat oreo cheesecakes untuk Kak Yan. Kak Yan order 4 bijik sekali untuk bagi staff kat fakulti. Satu rumah bau cheesecakes. Hehe. Tapi lupa nak snap gambar =p but anyway thanks Kak Yan yg dah nak ke Canada untuk sambung PhD. Good luck!
3. Ha! Ni smlm punye citer. Awal pagi kul 5 Nurul dan Mazwan dah bertolak dari Skudai dgn menumpang Amy dan Arif ke Kuala Pilah. Bawa 200pcs muffins, 1 box of fruit cheesetarts and 1 box of cupcakes for hantaran majlis perkahwinan Ayu & Fauzi. Congratulations on the wedding, Ayu! Tema majlis Ayu striking orange! Hantarannye siap ada penjaga, si Naruto and the geng. Pelik betul si Ayu ni. Apa-apapun semoga berbahagia ye Ayu dan Fauzi. Nanti I kawen tlg sponsor photography session ye. Gagaga!
4. And last but not least, chocolate cupcakes dgn strawberry ni ordered by Ashraf melalui phone call dari Kelantan or Kuantan, tak brp jelas pulak hari tu. Sayang betul dia kat buah hati kat UTM tu ye. Hehe. Thanks for ordering ya!
